'95 Pace Car at NCRS

I was at the Lone Star NCRS Regional Meet in Killeen, TX, last week (10/15-17,'09), and I am very happy to advise you that the first ’95 Pace Car to be Flight judged at a Regional belongs to our registrant, Darrel Suber of Long Beach, MS. His Sequence #118 passed the tough examination, so it would be the first ’95 Pace Car to be an NCRS Top Flight at this level!

Actually, Flight judging for ‘95s officially starts in 2011, but NCRS is interested in getting started on the Judging Manual for this year; so the ’95 PC was welcomed into this process early.

It will be exciting to see more of our ‘95s come out for Flight judging, so we can compare the “original” features of our cars. I hope to bring mine (with only 1300 miles) to the next possible NCRS Meet in my area.

Congratulations to Darrel, and to #118’s previous owner, Lonnie Martin, for preserving this beauty in its original state!

Also another '95 PC receiving a Chapter Top Flight in Oct.'09 was Terry Robertson, VIN xx11523. We don't have Terry registered but hope to hear from him soon. If you know Terry, please advise him!

This Car (#118) has had the Performance Verification test @ the Fla Winter Regional Jan.21-23 2010. The car passed the test with flying colors.

Darrell Suber's 1995 Indy pace car (Seq. #118) and Dave Gulley's 1995 Indy pace car (Seq. #65) recived the Dave Hil Mark of Excellence Award at the NCRS National Convention July 17, 2010 in Charlotte North Carolina.
