That is the number of Corvettes built! This milestone was just reached on 5/28/09, when # 1,500,000 rolled off the line in Bowling Green. It's a milestone everyone should remember in this crazy economy and Auto industry.... At least the first 1,500,000 made were called Chevrolet! Photos on our website!
Does anyone remember when 500,000 and 1,000,000 rolled off and from what assembly plant?

I found this on ask.com
500,000 March 15, 1977 750,000 October 26, 1983 1,000,000 July 2, 1982
I don't know if these dates are correct.

Sometime my fingers don't type things right. 1,000,000 Corvette was made on July 2, 1992 not 1982. Sorry about that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good info. I was going to correct you on the 82, it was 92. And that car is sitting at the National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green. Wonder where the others are?

if by others you mean the 500,000th car, it is on display at the museum right now.
