My 1995 Corvette Pace car with automatic transmission will not shift out of Park. Can anyone offer any suggestions?

Bill, have you resolved your issue ? When stuck in park was the vehicle on level ground or on an incline. I have had a similar problem and interested in your experience. There are a number of recommendations on-line to consider. If you wish you can e-mail me at cllentz@cablespeed.com. Thanks.

Bill: I don't remember having this problem with any C4, but my C6 has stuck on occasion .... There's a relay that clicks in when you press the brake, and sometimes I haven't waited a second or two to let this happen, and the trans lever locks up....Maybe this will work....

This lock-out finally happened to me on my '95 PC. There's a 15" video on YouTube titled "C4 Corvette 'Stuck in Park' and how to fix it". A friend more mechanical than I followed the video and got the solenoid working that allows the shifter to move. (You can also take it out, I understand, but this removes the safety of shifting out of Park using the brake.)
