Hi, fellow Members! I'm figuring we can use this Forum to discuss personal issues about our '95 and '02 Pace Cars, ask questions of each other, share tips, etc. We all know together more than any of us individually. If you have an issue, or you've resolved a sticky problem, join in and let's use this resource for the benefit of all. If you want to contact me personally without appearing as a post, use thewave500@sbcglobal.net.... ~Noel Osborn, '95/02 Year-director

Pace Car Registry Member Bob Receveur is looking to add the "Official Pace Car" decals on his lower doors. He bought one on eBay, but has not been able to locate another. If anyone has an extra they would be willing to sell or know of anyone else who does, he would appreciate this info....breceveur@remco1.com

Pace Car Registry Member Ken Swanston is missing both (upper) door decals ("79th Indianapolis 500 May 28, 1995"). He found a company that could duplicate them if they had a scan of the original. He has been searching for the last couple of years, so if anyone can scan one and forward it to him, he will try to have them made up.... ken.strasbourgagencies@sasktel.net

My 1995 VIN# S5112221 has "OFFICIAL PACE CAR"... The rumor story by a NCR Rep at 2014 Kissimmee NCR Event said:::: Factory installed logos had the "OFF---- R" installed. Some cars had the dealers installed because GM factory did not. The part logo was either not seen in packet or lost..
I need the black portion of seats replaced. Anyone knows who can retrofit or has seats out of a wrecked INDY VETTE ??

The "OPC" decals were an afterthought by GM and not issued in the box that contained the door and windshield decals that were provided for dealers (placed in the cars). I rec'd. (indirectly) in about June '95 a letter from GM that said I should go to my dealer for installation of the OPCs, but the dealer had no idea of it, nor the part number. I found the part no. and gave it to my dealer, and he ordered and installed the decals...That's the complete story....
BTW, I have no info on a '95 that has been wrecked. Aparently there was one, but it was repaired/restored....The only solution I would have is to have it replicated by a clever upholsterer.
(Sorry about the late reply!)
