Official 100th Anniversary Pace Car Reunion

Hi LaVelle. I have an 08 convertible that I purchased from Ray Skillman's Classic Cars here in Indy. I hopefully will pick up my car from the Waymire Group today. They seem like a great outfit as most of their work is done on government vehicles. They had several police cars in their lot awaiting strobes.

I ended up going with 6 leds in front and 6 in the rear. I wanted to make my car as close to the real deal. To do so, I had to obtain the export tail lights. These are no longer in stock at Corvette Central and Eckler's discontinued carrying them. I finally got a hold of 4 from my local Chevrolet dealer. They special ordered them for me even though they weren't 100% sure what I was going to get. It was a $500+ gamble. So, if anyone is interested, I can dig up the GM part number.

What's cool about the current Waymire led installation is there are 14 different strobe patterns. Most installs go with the random selection which cycles through all 14 patterns. I had Waymire add a momentary switch so I can stop and hold any of the 14 patterns.

We greatly enjoyed the 100th IMS 100th Anniv. Pace Car Reunion, and all that the CPCR put togather for us! I made an interesting observation of the 1995 Festival Car markings while we were togather side by side. Now I'm jealous!

Our drive back to Spokane was a great trip, except for the daily Midwestern rain storms!

The board of the CPCR truly appreciate your kind words. Every event has a few bumps along the way but we hope you enjoy these special events that we can put together for you.
