end of July I found a new 08 conv. with 42 miles on her at a fl. chevy dealer on the internet. They had removed the side decals, and I really like the looks. It was professionally detailed and the entire car was clear bra'd . Very easy to maintain now, no swirls. Should I ever decide to sell, I'm sure I could acquire the decals if it was wanted. The car's a real eye catcher with the gray top. It's # 372. I'm in central florida, any other members in this area? ocool

Congrats on your purchase. One thing on the graphics - right now, replacements are only available thru your Chevy dealer (or maybe Ebay on occasion). And they may not be stocking replacements, so it could take a while to get replacements. Also, at some point, they will stop offering them - probably years out in the future, but with the state of GM, who knows. May be worth getting a set now and storing them in an environmentally correct location "just in case". It's also possible that in the future some graphics company could decide to produce reproductions, but most likely not until the OEM are out of production, and if they see a market for them. I have an 07, and in the same boat - should I buy a spare set for mine or take the risk?
Good luck !
