I'll admit I did not like it at first but the more I see it the more I need to see it in person. What I hear from people who have seen it in the flesh say it doesn't look that bad. So I will definitely need to get a good up close look to make a final decision.
As for blind spots, if you set your side view mirrors up right you should have little to no blind spot. Here's how:
While sitting in the seat rest your head on the door. Move the mirror to a point where you can barely see the door. That is it!
It will take some getting used to but now cars should make a smooth transition from your rear view mirror to your side view to your peripheral vision.
